BCIT is British Columbia’s largest post-secondary institution and Canada’s leading polytechnic. We offer programs to approximately 50,000 full-and part-time students in engineering, applied and natural sciences, business and media, computing and information technology, health sciences, and trades and apprenticeship. BCIT has dedicated resources for applied research to support our extensive linkages with business and industry. Faculty and staff involved in such applied research activities work with industry clients to develop prototypes, evaluate devices, and design and build systems. BCIT has established the Applied Research Liaison Office to facilitate and support applied research.
