It’s true we do things a little differently out here on Salt Spring Island. We’ve got gumboot dancers, zucchini races, and zero traffic lights. It’s a place where island old-timers mingle with new urban refugees, and where Birkenstocks far outnumber penny loafers. It’s also where we roast really great coffee – as original as the folks who live here.
From a humble start with one small roasting café, we’ve grown up to become one of Canada’s largest and most respected micro-roasters of certified organic, fair-trade, shade-grown, and carbon-neutral coffees. We’ve worked hard to be recognized not only for uncompromising freshness and quality, but also for walking the walk when it comes to caring for people and the planet.
And we’re always striving to raise the bar, thanks in large part to customers who expect only the best from us.
The truth is, we’re a little bit obsessed. You might not want to get us started about coffee at dinner parties. But at least you can’t say we don’t love what we do.
