Company description:
Sunrise has a staff of 6, each team member playing an integral role at the Centre. Sunrise is a Non-Profit Resource Center advocating against poverty in the east side of Calgary.
♦The Executive Director(2) oversees the management of the entire organization and works closely with the Board of Directors.
♦The Client Support Worker and Administrative Assitant(2) provides clients with initial assessment, basic needs referrals, resource information, and in-house services.
♦Sunrise has two social workers identified as "Community Advocates". Community members can access the Community Advocates through an appointment only process. One on one support is offered through crisis conselling, basic needs referrals, interim counselling, and enhancing people's self-advocacy skills.
