PC Business:
As the core of ATI’s business, the PC delivers industry leading technology that provides the ultimate level of graphics performance for both desktop and workstation customers. By taking advantage of the latest advances in semiconductor manufacturing technology, ATI’s RADEON graphics processors give customers the ultimate visual experience on the PC. ATI’s MOBILITY RADEON line of graphics processors for mobile products can be found in more than half of all notebooks sold today and deliver technology that offers more features without sacrificing performance, power or mobility. With ATI’s integrated graphics products, value and mainstream customers get the advantage of the low cost desktop or notebook PC together with high performing ATI integrated graphics.
Consumer Business:
The wide range of consumer products requiring high end graphics has exploded in the last few years, driven by a desire for a richer visual experience no matter what platform people use. ATI’s consumer products include the IMAGEON line of processors for cell phones and XILLEON processors for the Digital Television market. ATI also supplies graphics processors for the Nintendo GameCube and has future technology agreements with both Nintendo and Xbox.
The company has more than 2,500 employees across its headquarters in Markham, Ontario, and offices in the Americas, Europe and Asia. ATI has research and development facilities in California, Florida, Massachusetts, Ontario and Pennsylvania and manufactures its products in Canada and Taiwan. In its fiscal year 2004, ATI recorded revenues of US $2.0 billion. Member of the NASDAQ 100, ATI common shares trade on NASDAQ (ATYT) and the Toronto Stock Exchange (ATY).
