We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) specialist to join our Engineering Services division. The candidate should have solid understanding of GSM/UMTS/LTE mobile network technologies and applications, and how they are being used and deployed in real world environments.
Perform quality assurance testing of mobile telecom software solutions such as HLR, HSS (IMs and LTE), AAA, SIP server, Subscriber Profile Repository, etc..
Perform quality assurance testing of web interfaces and web technologies backend systems.
Work closely with software design team and program management in providing work estimates, continuous improvement recommendations, etc.
Assist software designers in the product feature development.
Work with customer support team to investigate software problems and work towards a solution.
Develop new methods of testing
Prepare test plan, test cases and tests reports.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
What we're looking for?
Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
5 years and more of experience in Quality Assurance.
Strong knowledge of mobile telecommunication core network (GSM, UMTS, LTE) and applications (HLR, HSS, SGSN, MSC, AAA).
Knowledge of Signaling Protocols (SS7, SIP, MAP, Diameter, SOAP)
Knowledge of Linux based environments.
Knowledge of Catapult test environment & scripting language
Knowledge of load testing, carrier-grade and high-availability frameworks.
Test & Validation methodology (SDLC, test strategy, plan, cases,
Knowledge of web technologies (scripting, programming
) is an asset
Test automation tool skills such as SoapUI, LoadUI, Silktest, Winrunner, or others is an asset
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Team player who is detail oriented and has excellent organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Fluent in English (oral & written)

Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing requirements
