Job Description:
We are currently seeking talented Junior to Intermediate Project Manager with positive attitudes to join our energetic development team.



Responsibilities:
• Develop projects (and team members) for specific areas and/or subjects
• Ensure the continuity of expertise and knowledge
• Plan and allocate development work to each member and monitor their progress and schedule follow-up
• Review technical approaches and make sure our development guidelines are followed. Similarly, ensure the source codes are of quality, documented and secured into Source Safe.
• Provide solutions that ensure customer usability, stability, reliability, performance and flexibility
• Disseminate information between the members of the team and other teams in order to gradually build backup knowledge for the most critical systems
• Work closely with CTO and operations to ensure all systems function as intended, without impeding existing products or systems; ensure all systems are easy to operate and monitor.
• Develop computer-based applications and systems
• Participate in the definition of requirements
• Initial analysis and high level design
• Organize design reviews
• Coding, debugging, testing, integration
• Has full software development cycle experience
• Work with key stakeholders to determine requirements and establish project plan
• Establish procedures and systems for managing and tracking change
• Define and break down scope of work, managing project tradeoffs and balancing scope change against time and risk
• Generate schedules from team estimates and determine task sequencing, matching resources to tasks, applying statistical techniques, and schedule maintenance
• Manage project resources; determine resource requirements, participate in recruitment, facilitate team building, resolve conflict, and participate in career development
• Plan for upwards and outwards communication and provide regular project status reports
• Identify and develop mitigation/contingency plans, facilitate the risk management process, and maintain risk tracking documentation
• Work with the QA Lead to determine standards and quality measurement processes


Qualifications:
• B.Sc. Engineering, Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience
• 3 - 5 years of software development experience
• 3 - 5 years related work experience in Project Leader or team lead
• Good spirit and sense of humor.
• Self-starter and enthusiastic
• Good knowledge on computer development and technologies (C#, Databases, GUI, WEB, Imagery,)
• PMP certification is an asset
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills technical lead or project manager
• Demonstrated proficiency with project management software tools, MS Project
• Strong analytic skills
• Proven ability to initiate, recognize, and manage change
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
