We currently have an opening for an Applications Developer within our head office. Reporting to the VP of Service and Support, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with the customization of products sold by Labtronics.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Learn the technical aspects of Labtronics software such as typical customer use, known issues and possible solutions;
•Develop application modules inside of Labtronics products (VB type programming);
•Configure our products for specific customer requirements;
•Provide web-based training to customers;
•Participate in special internal projects as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•Minimum of 2 years work experience providing application support services to external clients
•University degree in Computer Science or Science
•Strong technical knowledge of databases (Oracle and SQL Server)
•Knowledge of programming and scripting (VB, C, Java, ASP, etc.)
•Knowledge of networks, network security and servers
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL
•Have a strong technical knowledge of Windows based operating systems and programs;
•Possess exceptional communication skills - written and verbal;
•Have strong business analyst and project management skills
