We currently have a unique opportunity for a bright, focused and self-motivated Manager - Financial Consulting to join our team of high caliber professionals. The individual in this role has the ability to make a significant contribution to the companys revenue in this multifaceted role, while also mentoring and training more junior members of the team.
Liaising with internal and external client accountants for the purpose of coordinating the joint filing and amendments of corporate tax returns
Completing and amending complex corporate tax returns including multi-province, holding companies and change of ownership
Mentoring a team of 5+ Financial Consultants in all aspects of SR&ED claim preparation
Manage quality and volume of team deliverables through regular meetings and reporting on key metrics to ensure meeting weekly/monthly targets
Consult with all clients when issues are escalated and assist with roadblocks in the claim preparation and review process
Liaise with CRA as needed during preparation and financial audit process
Canadian CA designation is required
5+ years of work experience in corporate tax managing and completing tax returns for small - medium sized clients
Knowledge of all financial aspect of SR&ED claims including costing, form preparation and review process is a strong asset
Advanced Excel skills including experience using complex formulas, macros, linking spreadsheets, Vlookups, etc.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and simultaneously work on multiple projects
