POSITION TITLE: IT Application Sales Executive
POSITION TYPE: Permanent - Full-time
LOCATION: Vancouver, BC Canada
COMPENSATION: Lucrative Base Salary + Commission - Based on experience
Our technology solutions client is searching for an IT Application Sales Executive for their Vancouver, BC office location.
This individual will become a subject matter expert (SME) for Application Services and will work in cooperation with the application services portfolio team, the delivery practice teams, the solutioning teams, the sales enablement team and marketing, to ensure that the Application Services offerings are client/market relevant, competitive, differentiated, and focused on business outcomes/results. They will also leverage internal and external marketing plans and campaigns.

Understands Application Services offerings and current strategy; provides thought leadership on client/engagement strategy.
Understands the current market and anticipates future trends; conducts appropriate market research and analysis to identify potential client opportunities.
Understands Application Services competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
Participates in and helps drive account planning sessions for named accounts.
Identifies customer prospects and develops those prospects into qualified pipeline and converts to new sales. Offers value-added, insightful thought leadership and strategic input to clients business.
Actively shapes deals to align with the companys value proposition, offerings, differentiators, and preferred deal structure.
Identifies client's business needs and influences development of the Request for Proposal to the advantage of the companys working towards sole sourced opportunities where possible.
Leads the Solutioning Team, Pursuit/Capture Team, and provides leadership in turnover to the Delivery Team.
Devises and executes a plan that meets business goals including accountability for achieving pipeline, sales, revenue, and profitability targets. Maintains current, accurate pipeline data at all times.
Manages and communicates key activities to pursuit team and Sales Management, including value proposition, scope, fit/alignment with client expectations, client timeline, deliverables, deal reviews, win strategy sessions, and orals prep.
Quickly develops their internal network and effectively leverages and manages the many available resources and partners available to them.
Provides insight and industry contacts to help form strategic partnerships and alliances where applicable.
10+ years in the Services Industry and 5+ years in developing and qualifying new business opportunities with clients, preferably at the senior executive level.
Proven track record of turning high level, strategic business conversations with C-Suite executives into qualified opportunities with unique position to win.
Ability to travel up to 80%
A history of consistently exceeding pipeline and sales targets.
Minimum 5 years Sales Campaign/Relationship Management experience
Minimum 5 years experience in one or more of the following:
o Application Management Services
o Application Development Services
o Application Testing Services
o Application Services.
University or Bachelor's degree; Advanced University preferred.
