CGI Calgary requires a developer to join our Integration and Architecture Practice.
Description:
- Intermediate to Sr. Java coding experience. (4-8 yrs).
- Experience should be related server-side development in an N-Tier project.
(Can be business or data tiers). Can also be something directly related developing
services in a SOA project.
-Previous experience working in a team environment.
-Understanding of and previous use of Design Patterns (Factory, MVC,delegator,etc).
-Understanding of modeling in UML.
-SQL (any flavour).
-Work with application servers (any).
-A demonstrable knowledge of SOA.
-Experience developing web services.
-Experience with XML, XSL, XSLT, XSD.
Nice to haves:
- Experience designing implementations in a SOA environment.
- Understanding of Architecture.
- Understanding of network protocols.
- health care experience.
- HL7 knowledge.
- Unix knowledge Sys V based, any flavour.
