CGI Calgary requires Business Systems Analysts to join our Integration and Architecture Practice. This role is for multiple large clients located in Calgary requiring the following skills:
- Basic understanding of System Integration (SOA, Messaging, XML)
- Ability to analyze system process across multiple environments
- Understanding of how to capture business requirements and relate them to system process
- Design and analysis capabilities
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
The responsibilities within this position will be to:
- Develop with clients system requirements based on business requirements
- Interface with development teams on a daily basis
- Effectively communicate issues
- Participation in team meetings and design sessions
- Optimize solutions
Although not critical for the role, the following skills would be complementary to the position and include:
- Understanding of relational database design
- Exposure to multiple ESB technology platforms
- Business Process Management (BPM) experience
- Experience with one of the iterative software development frameworks
