Responsibilities:

• Assist elderly or disabled clients with daily living activities at the client’s home 24 hrs / day;
• Support clients with house keeping, laundry, washing dishes, preparing meals and other daily living activities as required;
• Perform and assist personal care duties such as bathing, personal hygiene, feeding, transferring and other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Register Care Aide certificate required
• Previous home support experience preferred
• Outstanding interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with different types of clients
• Must have superior client service skills
• Exhibit the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills
• Self starter with the ability to go above and beyond the call of duty
