RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist all departments in issuing of supplies and products and accurately accounting for all products from Food Stores or Receiving areas.
· Ensure all products received are properly stored, maintaining rotation and storage areas.
· Participation in monthly inventory counts.
· Extensions of requisitions and inventory issues
· Unloading merchandise from truck deliveries ensuring items are properly stored
· Familiarity of merchandise used within the hotel
· Daily cleaning of storage areas to ensure utmost cleanliness at all times
· Personal physical health & safety awareness in moving and lifting stock.
· Adhering to all environmental policies and programs as required.
· Physically demanding job duties - 100% standing, walking, bending, lifting 80lbs and pushing carts ranging from 500lbs - 1,000lbs
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Self motivated individual who works well with others
· Uphold and maintain hotel environmental standards and practices
· Computer knowledge with Windows base applications; Word, Excel an asset
· Must have good organizational skills
· Previous warehouse experience an asset
· Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail required
· Knowledge of hotel and department operations an asset
· Must be physically capable of meeting demands of the position
· Previous work experience involving hard physical exertion
· Works in a safe manner and aware of other co-workers safety
