Owing to continued growth in its captive portfolio, our client, one of the largest names in the global insurance industry is seeking an experienced and ambitious captive accountant with a minimum of two years experience of managing captives.



THE ROLE



The successful applicant will be responsible for:



· Undertaking the day to day operations of a portfolio of complex captives

· Overseeing and reviewing the portfolios of a number of account managers

· Maintenance of corporate records and compliance with the relevant captive insurance laws

· Preparing and presenting the financial reports at Board of Directors meeting

· Contributing to improving and developing internal controls and procedures to increase productivity of the department as a whole

· Developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients





THE CANDIDATE



· A professionally designated accountant with a business related degree and 5 years post-qualification experience

· Proven experience in an account manager role within a Captive Insurance department and ready to progress to a supervisory role

· A good communicator, able to develop and maintain good internal and external relationships with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
