Owing to continued growth in its international portfolio, our client, one of the largest names in the global insurance industry is seeking an experienced and ambitious qualified accountant to join its offshore team.
THE ROLE
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
· Undertaking the day to day operations of a portfolio of offshore captive companies
· Coordinating the activities of the third party service providers including legal counsel, investment managers, and the regulatory authorities
· Preparing and presenting the financial reports at Directors’ and Shareholders’ meetings
· Developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients
· Overseeing the work of junior members of staff
THE CANDIDATE
· A professionally designated accountant with 1 - 5 years post-qualification experience
· Experience working with a portfolio of clients as an accountant within a captive insurance, client accounting, trust or audit department.
· An excellent communicator, able to develop and maintain good internal and external relationships with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
· Willing to travel to attend client meetings
