The newly added role of Production Manager reports to the Vice President & General Manager, and is responsible for the overall operations and safety of the facility based in the Vancouver area. This involves the manufacturing of a wide variety of quality industrial components through experienced employees and a unionized workforce. As a leader and change agent, the Production Manager is always seeking new ways to improve all aspects of production and to meet organizational objectives.
You have solid production management experience within an industrial manufacturing organization involved in the building products and construction industry, ideally in a pre-cast concrete plant or on a construction site. Your strong knowledge and successful implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement will provide the necessary impetus to increase productivity and profitability. Along with your sound management skills, you also have a track record in effectively hiring and coaching a successful team to meet production goals.
