Base Salary: $74,804 - $112,206 plus:
5% Northern Allowance $ 3,740 - $ 5,610 approx
Flat rate Northern Allowance $ 6,300 per annum
Vacation Travel Allowance $1,300/employee; $850 spouse & dependent children
RRSP 6% $ 4,488 - $ 6,732 paid by employer and matched by employee
Employer Paid Insurance Life insurance, dependent life insurance, extended health & dental
Employee Paid Insurance Short and long term disability
Vacation Leave 4 weeks per year

Description:
Required for our client who is a producer and transmitter of electrical energy.
Reporting to the Director, Operations, the Operations manager is responsible for providing operational and planning support plus involvement in Capital planning process.
Oversees and provides operational and planning support for generation, substation, transmission and distribution assets.
Qualifications:
Requires a related Technology Diploma or Registered Professional Electrical Engineer (in Canada), or 1st or 2nd Class Power Engineer or equivalent education and experience.
10 years of related experience in progressively more responsible management positions, preferably in hydro and/or diesel power generation, substation, and/or transmission and distribution.
Experience in the operational and capital planning and budgeting process is an asset.
