Sales/Product Manager, Western Canada

Location: Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta
Description:
• Newly created position due to market growth in Alberta.
• Required for our client, a well established and successful manufacturing company of automated industrial controls and products.
• Provide sales and product support to outside sales distributors in the Western Canadian territory of B.C. Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba. Primary focus will be Calgary and northern Alberta.
• Promoting products to Engineering Procurement Consulting (EPC) firms for major projects in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and municipal industries.
• Defining customer product needs and providing technical solutions.
• 40% travel is required.
Qualifications:
• Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering Technologist, or related technical education or trade.
• 5 to 20 years experience.
• C.E.T. would be an asset
• Excellent Technical Sales experience with technical products such as industrial pressure containing products and controls.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform in an autonomous environment.
• Dynamic, assertive, hard working, self-motivated, high achiever.
