Branch Sales Manager

Description: Our client is a leader in technical process equipment distribution, located in key markets across the country. The next phase in their expansion plans includes opening a branch in Vancouver. They are looking for a leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong management skills to launch this new operation. Future opportunity for company shares.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and Manage branch territory, including all day to day aspects of business
-Provide area sales details for monthly financial review
-Creating and achieving sales plan and target
-Outside area sales for the territory
-Target and develop new customer relationships
-Maintain existing customer base and explore new opportunities within that relationship
-Perform sales calls with our Manufacturer representatives
-Hiring staff as required
-Ensure development and training of sales team
-Perform annual review with sales team members and ensure targets are met
Qualifications:
-Post-secondary degree in Business, Technical or related field (such as Mechanical or Instrumentation Technologist) would be an asset.
-5+ years related experience
-Background in Mining, with valve or related equipment sales experience
-Ability to develop successful sales strategies
-Skilled in written and oral communications
-Proven technical sales achiever.
-Self motivate results oriented in an autonomous environment.
