Vascular Sales Specialist
 

Details
Our client is a global leader of innovative medical products and services. They concentrate on quality healthcare products and are dedicated to innovation and long-term growth. They are currently looking for a Vascular Sales Specialist for the Winnipeg Market. Experience in the Healthcare sector is mandatory

Main Functions:
♦ Responsible and accountable for achieving the sales and gross profit quotas for the territory, while keeping expenses within guidelines.
♦ Develop and implement business plans, sales strategies & sales funnel for the territory, in consultation with other members of the Acute and Continuing Care regional sales teams. Review, update and adjust business plans and sales funnels on a regular basis to ensure that they are strategic, effective and achieve annual sales quota.
♦ Work closely with the Acute & Continuing Care Sales Representatives within the assigned region to facilitate the achievement of sales objectives within each territory. Proactively support the sales representatives in the preparation and completion of all necessary information and documentation tenders.
♦ Constantly seek out new business opportunities and aggressively target competitive business franchises with a view to growing market share
♦ Effectively communicate on a monthly basis or as required, rationalization of performance versus sales plan and quota, highlighting market developments, competitive intelligence, key issues, trends and proposed solutions
♦ Develop and maintain a proficient knowledge of the assigned product portfolio, with specific attention to mastering focus products
♦ Develop and leverage strategic relationships with key decision makers and influencers
♦ Interact with customers and participate in off-site conferences, symposia, in-servicing, training sessions and customer meetings which take place to drive and achieve annual sales targets
♦ Coordinate and conduct sales presentations
♦ Schedule and provide all in-servicing activities in collaboration with Acute & Continuing Care Sales Representatives
♦ Conduct & coordinate Professional Education activities by engaging and developing regional Key Opinion Leaders. Utilize educational activities (CPEs) and clinical detailing to sell the assigned product line into all assigned channels with all assigned customers
♦ Provide additional value add to customers through your role as clinical expert and consultant.
♦ Conduct and utilize product evaluations/standardizations as identified in business plans and directed by marketing strategies to achieve sales objectives
♦ Implement and follow-up on a timely basis all marketing priorities and initiatives within assigned territory. Support Marketing in the development of sales tools and programs by providing technical expertise as required.
Requirements:
♦ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or clinical experience in the healthcare environment or equivalent preferred
♦ Minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry; clinical experience considered an asset
♦ Demonstrates perseverance, determination and autonomy. Excellent planning and organizational abilities
♦ Solid business acumen and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively/productively on a individual or group basis
♦ Strong oral and written communication skills
♦ Solid computer skills (MS-Office suite)
♦ Must possess a valid driver’s license
