Position Overview:
The ideal candidate must come from a liquid fill dairy background. They should have a background in GMP and HACCP and will be responsible for executing change and directing production / operations activities for Liquid Filling and Blow Moulding departments. The successful candidate will have dealt with products that have a short shelf life.
Job Responsibilities:
§ Support plant objectives, corporate strategies and business initiatives by improving processes or while maintaining quality standards. Supervise other members in the team, ensuring productivity and target levels are up to company standards within both departments. Resolves operational and manufacturing problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent delays and initiate Cost Savings projects
Qualifications:
§ 8+ years management experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in the Chemical or Plastics industry
§ Millwrights or Electrician license an asset. Someone who is very hands on and can fix things and the ability to troubleshoot problems on the shop floor
§ Demonstrated project managements skills
§ Experience with Continuous process improvement methodologies, budget development, KPI analysis, meeting production schedules, controlling & Improving Line Efficiency
§ Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
§ Must have excellent leadership and communication skills
