HAZCO Environmental Services is an environmental contractor specializing in environmental construction, remediation, waste management, and demolition services. We are a fast-paced, dynamic workplace whose comprehensive services are backed by corporate infrastructure, dedicated personnel, extensive project experience and specialized equipment assets. Due to rapid growth we are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant / Waste Coordinator for our Interior British Columbia region.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Answering the telephone;
· Scanning and coding of A/P invoices and visa receipts;
· Timely preparation and submission of invoices to customers;
· Photocopying, filing and other general administrative duties as required;
· Miscellaneous projects from project managers
· Coordinate waste services logistics and compliance;
· Work closely with HAZCO and third party disposal facilities.
With one to three years experience in an office environment, the successful candidate will have a Business Administration or accounting certificate and strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on customer service. Attention to detail, accuracy, and good follow up skills are a must. Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work with and build relationships with internal and external customers are required. The ability to multitask, handle multiple priorities, and be effective in an unstructured, dynamic environment is essential. The candidate must also have strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite. With a high energy level and an infectious personality, you must be a self-starter who can take charge and does not rely on or need continuous supervision. Previous experience with TDG and Hazwaste manifesting are a definite asset.
