Our client is a well established and reputable engineering international consultancy firm. The company offers a multi-disciplinary consultancy service to the private and public sector, and has won many large scale international projects. It is involved in the areas Structures, Roads, Environment and Commercial Developments with a particular emphasis on luxury hotels.
This particular vacancy is for a Planning Engineer / Manager for one of their projects in North Africa. Joining this firm will ensure an exciting and rewarding career within a well established and growing company. The project will give you the opportunity to work on a high profile hotel project in one of the country’s most sought after locations.
Responsibilities:
•Produce proposals and tenders for work using primavera.
•Set up project calendar Activities and Coding with construction managers resource requirements using companies standard outputs
•Setting up and maintenance off Critical path networks, including updating, reporting and implementation of logic and resource changes, as required.
•Regular progress recording on site of actual progress
•Providing advice and support to the site planning engineers.
•Presenting work schedules and co-ordinate subcontract schedule and day-to-day operations
•Liaising closely with the site management and ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner and meeting a tight finish deadline
•Planning multi-projects with logic & a resource interlinks,
The opportunity is a working on a joint venture with a Lebanese Contracting firm. Your role will be very instrumental in the success and completion of the project within a tight timeframe. You will be required to offer strong negotiation and communication skills and the ablity to get the job done. You will be working for a consultancy firm that offer a very strong working team atmosphere and a working environment that promotes open communication.
Requirements:
•Engineering or Building Degree or equivalent
•Must have 8-15 yrs experience
•Strong Primavera experience
•Must have previously worked with high storey buildings
•Experience work on hotel project would be ideal
