Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI Radiography as required.
• Use and direct ionising radiation as necessary.
• Perform medically unsupervised preparation, intravenous cannulation and administration of intravenous drugs, pharmacological stress agents and MR contrast media.
• Prepare blood and cytology specimens for analysis as necessary.
• To perform accurate data entry onto the Radiology Information System (CRIS), PACS and all electronic records pertinent to the Radiology Department.
• Attend and contribute to staff and other meetings to discuss and promote ideas for ongoing improvements in the service.
Requirements:
• BSc in Radiography or Diploma from the College of Radiographers.
• Validation with the Department of Health and Children Ireland
• Ideally 3 years post qualification experience with some of this in MRI.
