Position: Short-Order Cook
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Wages: $11.85 per hour for 40 hours per week, Shift hours required
Job Duties:
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling food.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods.
- Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions.
- Estimate food requirements and costs.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
Secondary school plus at least 3 years of experience or
Completion of college in cooking
Knowledge of Mexican Food is a “must”
