Night Cleaner - Kitchen Helper
Wage - $14.75
Main Duties -
* Clean the Convection Ovens, Tilt Skillets, Soup Kettles, Flat Top, Ranges, Grilles and all counter tops and rack in the kitchen
* Must wash off all ceramics, equipment and stainless products supplied by wait and culinary staff
* Keep the dishwashing machine clean, which includes dismantling and scrubbing the complete interior in a per shift basis
* Keep a back up of all cleaning chemicals and supplies used in the station ready, in case of emergency or replacement during shifts
* General garbage removal and recycling of card board and cans a minumum of once each shift. More often when required
* Daily sweeping and moping of service coolers and floors
* Prompt cleaning of any spills or leaks as requested by culinary staff
* Submit ideas for operational improvements to the Executive Chef
Keep walls above and below counters in dishwasher area clean
* Ensure preparation sinks in main kitchen are clean and free of equipment and food waste at least 2 times per shift or when required by culinary team
* Other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Soup Chefs
* Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook and is able to effectively communicate them to other team members
* Understand and work in accordance with Health and safety mandates |
