POSITION SUMMARY:
The Account Executive will be responsible for the sale of LTL and Courier services. As part of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing sales opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and closing deals. The Account Executive will have a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, possess superior communication and presentation skills, and be a strong negotiator.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Sell LTL and Courier services
Maintain regular contact with accounts via phone/fax/e-mail
Cold call into new prospect accounts and develop new business opportunities
Proactively identify opportunities and contacts within new and existing accounts
Prepare sales presentations for potential and existing clientele
Responsible for own success
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to initiative, integrity, strong work ethic and being a team player:
Minimum of 5 years Sales experience
Logistics Sales experience is an asset
