The Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate all warehouse and pick-up and delivery operations with respect to work processes and procedures. The successful candidate is responsible for the shipment, reception, warehousing, and distributing activities while ensuring customers receive the best possible service. The Warehouse Supervisor will supervise staff; manage shipping reports and continuously promoting safety and quality objectives.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for all warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, cleanliness and organization
Supervise and provide direction to all warehouse employees in a high volume environment with a variety of SKUs
Establish processes and procedures
Oversee maintenance and quality
Visit customers to analyze delivery problems and propose solutions to meet their needs.
Ensure the development and training of the team
Pick and prepare orders for pick and delivery ensuring the highest level of accuracy
Develop and implement the safety action plan.
Serve as a coordinator during emergency situations and ensure the purchase and maintenance of safety equipment
Take part in training sessions concerning emergency interventions and intervene when necessary
Apply necessary disciplinary measures as required
Daily interaction with customer service, sales, suppliers and outside carriers

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

5 years minimum experience in a similar role
Supervisory skills
Unionized experience is ideal
Auto or welding industry experience is an asset
Strong leader and coach
Positively influence and motivate others
Efficiently allocates resources
Superior planning and organizational skills
Experienced in use of Oracle

Self-controlled and able to excel in a fast-paced environment
Tenacious with a sense of urgency
