Job Title: Portfolio Manager ⁄ Project Manager - Software Development

Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
-Minimum 2 years related experience managing deliverables or full life cycles for large scale public or corporate website development projects
-Minimum 2 years experience designing and developing web applications using C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, XML, and CSS with a heavy focus on Client-Side technologies
-Must posses and exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
-In-depth knowledge of formal project management processes and best practices
-PMP Certification and⁄or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred
-Strong negotiation and influence management skills
-Expertise in scope management, project accounting, quality management, resource management, communications management, risk management and process improvement
-Display solid leadership qualities, must be able to work with limited supervision and be accountable for actions and decisions
-Good analytical and problem solving skills with a high commitment to quality and results
Responsibilities:
-Portfolio and project management of our suite of applications
-Conducts impact analysis⁄trade-off discussions with IT Management to properly manage Client expectations
-Accountable for meeting project schedules and costs
-Develops and manages the project plan including project scope definition, task estimations, development⁄delivery schedules, resource requirements, and integration efforts
-Maps measured business value of deliverables upholding accountability of team members
-Facilitates project team communications through development and management of a communication plan to include content, frequency, audience and channels
-Monitors the project from initiation through delivery ensuring successful implementations that are on-time and within budget
-Implements consistent portfolio and project status reporting to IT Management
-Works with IT Management to establish appropriate project structure and staffing plans and participates in the staffing process
-Manages resource additions and deletions over the life of the projects
-Typically uses more project management skills than technical skills
-Sets goals, objectives and priorities; assigns and reviews work, resolves conflict
-Ensures that approved methods, processes, and tools are consistently used, including change, issue risk and quality management
