To provide development and servicing of a geographical territory to attain targeted volume and profitability goal through system sales to industrial and commercial accounts in the material handling and logistics automation industry.
Plan and execute a marketing strategy aimed at development and servicing of past, present and new accounts.
Assist customers in determining requirements and problem solutions through:
a) system concepting
b) productive and financial justification
Preparation of systems proposals through:
a) information gathering
b) proper qualifying
c) establishing sales strategy
d) layout drawings
e) proposal
Build and maintain customer goodwill through sincere and honest working relationships.
Continuously pursue new business through:
a) sales leads
b) cold calls
c) sales promotions
Plan and schedule sales assignments through Sales software.
Maintain accurate sales records through Sales software.
Maintain inter-department liaison within The Corporation and between customers and The Corporation.
Keep up-to-date with current trends surrounding the material handling industry.
Assist accounting in the collection of delinquent accounts.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Secondary plus college or trade school.
Sales - inside and/or outside.
Computer skills - Microsoft, AutoCAD and Sales software. |
