Position profile
Working from our client’s Maritime office and reporting to the Area Sales Director, your primary mandate will be to a) act as a technical expert and product advocate for the company’s Technology product and service offering, b) assist sales representatives in the development and growth of their technology portfolio, and c) enable business partners to meet financial, operational and market targets.

Key responsibilities
- Advocating the interests and concerns of customers and sales representatives to the appropriate stakeholders and recommending the most suitable technology products and service offerings;
- Encouraging a collaborative selling approach while coordinating the overall partnership between Technology and Office Supplies teams, including negotiating contracts and service level agreements, defining appropriate product/service offerings, developing associated pricing and delivering the framework of roles and responsibilities for both partners;
- Liaising with Office Supplies sales representatives to identify technology business opportunities within the current book of business to increase Share of Wallet (SOW);
- Managing multiple sales projects involving cross-functional departments to ensure that end results are delivered according to sales and project plans;
- Serving as a product expert and providing customers with technical advice regarding the selection, design, structure and placement of product for customers;
- Collaborating in the selling process and accompanying sales representatives on selected customer calls as required/requested;
- Supporting Marketing and Technology teams in the production of professional and compelling client presentations;
- Assisting sales and administrative personnel in the coordination, tracking and cataloging of client projects;
- Liaising with product/service training providers to assist in training and/or development of training programs to support category growth;
- Internally promoting and obtaining sales team buy-in for programs developed by the Technology Business Unit.
