Our client is seeking a hands-on Controller to join their Edmonton based location. The successful candidate will manage full accounting cycle. The Controller will offer insight and be part of a dynamic management team. This is a key role within a fast growing dynamic enterprise that calls on the Controller to supervise staff in all accounting processes and procedures, meet reporting deadlines, budgeting, business plans, oversee the credit function, and assist with new corporate initiatives.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a professional designation (CA, CGA, CMA), with outstanding written and oral communication skills; Ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of people in order to obtain the necessary information and collaboration; Ability to work effectively as a part of a team; Highly developed analytical, problem solving and creative thinking skills; Excellent interpersonal skills; Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel. Strong costing and construction experience would be a definite asset.
