Our client is a leading Australian mining and resources company with a strong production base in carbon and stainless steel raw materials through its manganese, chromite and nickel divisions, and is developing projects in copper and iron ore. They are currently looking for a Senior Resource Geologist with either Underground Mining Experience or Open Pit, to join their team.
You will be working with 4 Senior Resource Geologist and reporting to the Chief Geologist of Operations at the head office in West Perth. Each Geologist specialises in taking care of one of the company’s 4 sites, whilst crossing over as needed on other projects and commodities.
To be a front runner for this opportunity you will possess -
• Bachelor of Science (Geology)
• At least 5 years experience working in/with Resource Geology
• Experience working in base minerals
• Surpac experience an advantage
