• 45 Hour base working week
Job Description
• Understanding project scope of work and participate in receipt and analysis of work requirement
• Determine estimated time/man-hours for work completion
• Understand project and client requirement for mechanical engineering discipline
• Prepare datasheets/specifications for various Mechanical Equipment
• Prepare Requisition for Quotation (RFQ’s) and Purchase specification
• Evaluate Technical Offers provided by vendor
• Prepare Technical Offers provided by vendor
• Prepare Technical Bid evaluation, Technical query sheets
• Review vendor documents
• Understand the contractual scope of work and raise variation requests for any work not covered as part of the work scope but is required to be undertaken for job completion
• Interact with other engineering disciplines, identify the inputs required by them and accordingly provide the same
• Provide work direction to staff at lower levels and liase with supervisor for all work related activities
• Prepare man-hour estimates and budgetary quotations and list of deliverable for the purpose of bid/capability documents
• Review mechanical drawings prepared by designers.
