Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, this role will involve maintaining the geological systems through the collection and analysis of data in the field and interaction with operational personnel. In addition there will be a requirement to undertake project work and assist with the resource definition activities.
Specific responsibilities will include daily ore mining and grade control functions, interpretation of geophysical logging, undertaking pit geological mapping, preparing bench geology plans, and managing the geology database and QA/QC issues.
To be successful in this role you will possess Degree level qualifications in Geology, demonstrated ability to work closely with operational personnel, superior communication skills and a strong commitment to safety. Proven experience in a similar position is essential.
