THE POSITION

Do you have the confidence as a senior process engineer to provide client liaison services to our oil sands clients? Can you credibly address technical issues related to oil sands extraction and production?

Is providing technical support and guidance toa team of engineers something that appeals to you?

With your experience in Downstream Oil Refining and Natural Gas Processing you will work with a project team in the following areas:
-Modeling and simulation of the process units
-Development of the PFDs and heat and material balances
-Equipment sizing and data sheets
-Development of the P&IDs
-Safety and Control instrument sizing and data sheets
-Development of the process control and safety design philosophies
-Executing technical bid evaluations for equipment and making recommendations for purchase;
-Interaction with other process engineers in the organization to ensure that technology is shared effectively;
-Interaction with other Consultants and Clients as required by the project;
-Assistance with development of capital and operating costs;
-Report writing for studies;
-Generation of operating manuals, plant startups and commissioning where required.


QUALIFICATIONS

-Successful candidates will have a Bachelor of Science in Process or Chemical Engineering with 10 plus years experience in the Oil Gas related projects.
-Operational and site experience would be an advantage.
-Registration as a Professional Engineer desirable.
