Responsibilities:
-This is a project management and leadership position which requires the ability to lead and direct others in achieving project goals.
-Company's projects need to achieve overall quality objectives which include: Safety, Environment, Cost, Schedule, Correct and Complete targets. This position has a strong front line influence on delivering project results and requires patience, persistence and great communication skills to achieve success.
Qualifications:
-At least 15 years of discipline experience in an EPC.
-An Undergraduate Degree in Engineering with Professional Engineer status.
-Reputation for successfully delivering projects with Clients at the senior level.
-Demonstrated people skills to handle difficult situations, leadership skills to coordinate and manage discipline engineering teams.
-Change management expertise to define, document and control changes on a project.
-Ability to coordinate, document and lead project team meetings.
In addition to the must haves the other desirable skills of a project engineer which lead to success are:
-A PMP designation with knowledge of earned value principles and concepts and the application of these to project management.
-Experience in writing Project Execution Plans.
-Experience in work planning, budgeting and scheduling and controlling the same.
-Experience in cost estimating and risk management.
