POSITION SUMMARY
EQO is looking for a Senior Web Designer to support the technical design, implementation and testing of our corporate website. You will be working in a team environment and will be responsible for producing Internet Server and Browser based software to realize Web-site design and interface concepts. When delivering on projects, you combine your knowledge of design theory and take into consideration content, navigational structure and usability issues to create a powerful and integrated experience.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILL SETS
 5+ years of experience in web design and development
 Innovative mindset, contributing with new ideas in the creation of web sites and features
 Solid knowledge of usability principles
 Good understanding of web standards and practices
 Programming experience with advanced X/HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
 Working knowledge of AJAX & Web 2.0 technologies
 Experience with both database-driven and template-driven web design and development
 Working experience with FLASH animation (Photoshop and Illustrator)
 Ability to troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser related issues
 Good knowledge of Apache configuration
 Demonstrated ability to become effective with new technology quickly and independently
 Excellent written and oral communication skills
 Proven ability to work in a team environment
 Familiarity with web based testing and QA processes

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Design, implement, and test web applications
 Analyze the requirements originated from the Product Management and Marketing
 Provide effort estimates for the development of new features
 Support UI design throughout the product lifecycle
 Provide technical guidance to the junior web developers.
 Prototype for the proof of concept demo
 Maintain high standards of design documentation

EDUCATION:
 Bachelor degree of Computer Science, or related new media or traditional degree or diploma and/or equivalent experience.
