ESG is currently recruiting enthusiastic individuals to join an expanding team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful applicant will be a motivated, inquisitive, self-starter who is capable of working independently and as part of a team. They will possess strong communication skills and comprehension of the operation of electronic systems.
Requirements: B.Sc. in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering. The applicant must have, or be eligible to obtain their P.Eng license.
Skills:
• Electrical troubleshooting using oscilloscope and other debugging equipment.
• Solid understanding of electronic/communications/instrumentation systems
• Personal communication skills
• Report writing
• Project Management
The successful applicant will join the petroleum services division. As an integral part of this team, responsibilities will include:
• Supervising /Commissioning the installation of ESG equipment in the field
• Advanced seismic monitoring and data acquisition systems
• Deep bore-hole sensory equipment
• Wireless, Fiber optic, Satellite Communications networks
• Solar power systems
• Qualify each installation as ‘complete and operational’
• Data quality
• Radio/communication links
• Overall installation quality and appearance
• Providing on-site training to clients
• Provision of ongoing system support
• Working with ESG’s engineering development team to provide a path for continual product improvement
• Travel to various locations within North America and worldwide
