You are:
Web designer and interaction designer with usability experience. You enjoy designing prototypes and working with developers to create effective solutions. You are a self-starter, understand customer needs and user experience is important to you. Taking complex problems and creating simple interface solutions is not intimidating for you. You create order out of chaos and make the complex look simple with user-friendly navigation. You communicate clearly, are detail oriented, organized and have a need for consistency.
You will be responsible for:
Your primary focus will be on interface design and development. As part of an established team, your duties will include:
•Working collaboratively as well as independently to design interface solutions for web based applications (including developing prototypes, wireframes, mock-ups, and GUI specifications)
•Collaborating with all departments to implement your effective designs solutions
•Testing and quality assurance including tracking usability issues
Essential Skills:
•Proficient experience with Adobe Creative Suite (CS3 or CS4) and related programs
•Experience with interface architecture and user centered design methods
•Ability to work with existing HTML
•Solid understanding of web and mobile interfaces
•Aware of web interface best practices, web standards
•Experience working and maintaining dynamic sites
•Solid understanding of CSS styling and layout
•User interface design
•Flash
•File size optimization
•Experience with designing for mobile applications
Desired Skills:
•Experience working with, and understand issues related to various browsers and multiple platforms
•Working knowledge of XSL and use in conjunction with XML and CSS
•Ability to write code
•XML
