General:

Responsibilities to include:
Design, debug and implement software for embedded systems;
Liaise with clients to understand business needs;
Liaise with the Product Development Manager on the system architecture mapped out for specific clients;
Liaise with Software and Hardware Engineers for design, testing and integration purposes;
Coach and provide knowledge transfer for more junior firmware engineers in the team.


Skills/Experience:

A suitable candidate will :
have at least 6 years experience in designing, debugging and implementing software and firmware for embedded systems;
have very strong C/C++/Assembly language programming skills;
have exceptional leadership skills and at least 2 year's experience as a team leader in a firmware development environment;
have proven coaching/training skills in a technical environment;
have superior communication and analysis skills;
have excellent interpersonal and English language skills.

Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a Technology graduate with equivalent combination of experience and education.
