General:
Our client, a Major Telecom Service Provider, is looking for a mature, organized, customer focused individual, with a strong work ethic. If you have a good business acumen along with technical ability, you would do well in this position.
Skills/Experience:
The successful candidate will:
* have approximately 10 years of experience.
* have knowledge of, and experience in installing/maintaining PBX, IP PBX and Nortel Networks equipment such as Succession VoIP systems, Business Communications Manager (BCM) portfolio, and Meridian M1 equipment.
* have a Class 5 driver's license.
The ability to work independently on customer sites, sometimes under time schedules using diagnostic skills to identify problems, and problem-solving skills to solve them is essential.
Great communication skills used to both manage customer expectations and keep other team members updated on progress are expected.
Qualifications:
* Certified Journey Person Service Technician.
* Network & Telecommunications Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent.
