Responsibilities:
Responsibilities to include:
* calling customers in support of direct mailings, promotions, or first-time contact;
* educating and consulting with customers and prospective customers on how to train and manage safety programs within their business;
* initiating a high daily volume of outbound calls within an identified market;
* qualifying and converting a realistic percentage of calls to sales;
* managing an electronic database of contacts and results;
* performing and assuming related duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience:
The suitable candidate will :
* have at least one year of sales experience;
* have a sound knowledge of telephone sales;
* be detail oriented and organized with strong time management skills;
* be adept at negotiation;
* have exceptional customer service skills;
* have a desire to succeed;
* demonstrate tenancity, determination and effectiveness;
* have computer skills; email/internet and MS office.
Education:
* Grade 12 minimum
