In our 20th year, we are the recognized industry leader in safety products, services and training, and due to continued growth, are looking to add one more dynamic person to our sales team. Based at our beautiful offices on River Road in Delta, you will cover territory throughout the Lower Mainland.
Working with a team of professionals, you will report directly to, and be under the guidance of the General Manager. The overall expectation of this position is to meet and exceed pre-determined sales targets every 10 days/monthly/quarterly/annually.
As a member of the Sales Team, you are responsible for:
achieving pre-determined targets
preparing action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and project number of contacts
following up on new leads and referrals
proactively working with existing and new customers to determine specific needs for our extensive product line, including:
safety management products and services
emergency management preparedness products and support services
custom sewn safety products
develop and execute the preparation, issuance and delivery of sales materials and promotion programs
prepare for and attend exhibits, trade shows, conferences, meetings and other local, regional and national promotional opportunities
deliver Lunch & Learn presentations and other training/in-service seminars as required
correctly and accurately completes order documentation for production
participate in weekly sales meetings
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate flexibility in work hours, assignments and scope of work as required in order to achieve the objectives of the department
Reporting Responsibilities include updating the General Manager on daily basis with sales, progress and problems and reporting time and activities at the end of every week

Keyboarding speed: 50 + wpm
