Medicine Hat Roman Catholic Faith Community seeks to fill the position of:
Youth Ministry Coordinator
*Coordinating, guiding and fostering youth participation in the Catholic Faith Community
*Working in partnership with local parishes, homes and Catholic schools (middle years, high school)
*Planning and delivery of youth programs
Job Requirements
*Bachelor's degree or course work in Religious Studies, Theology, Social work, Counseling or Education
*Youth ministry experience or other youth related experience
*completion of, or currently working towards, a Canadian Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
WCACYM training or some theological and pastoral ministry training would also be considered an asset
*Current Pastoral Reference
*Active member of a Roman Catholic Parish Faith Community
*RCMP Security Check/Child Welfare Check
Expect to be part of a collaborative team working in a comprehensive ministry model which involves all stakeholders (home, school, parish)
