Licensed Security Guards are required for event security at the RBC Canadian Open Golf Tournament in Oakville. This will be Temporary - Full Time work ranging from July 13th - August 2nd. Successful applicants should be available for all shifts, including day, afternoon and overnight shifts, including 12hr shifts. Successful applicants must be comfortable working outside, standing/walking for extended periods of time and possess excellent communication skills. Successful applicants will be compensated between $11.50 - $14.00/hr and may be eligible for further employment upon completion of the contract.
Responsibilities/Expertise Required:
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Fluent in English, both written and orally
• Dealing with large crowds
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Standing/walking for long periods of time
• Enforcing venue rules and procedures
• Responding to emergency/crisis situations
• Access control including bag checks
• Polite Professional and well groomed is a must!
