SITE SUPERVISOR
We are seeking a Site Supervisor
with minimum 5 years experience,
for commercial & institutional construction.
Will report directly to the Director of Construction.
Responsiblities:
Will ensure that the projects are built according
to approved plan, spec, and applicable building codes.
Ensures that site safety measures meet or exceed
the parameters set out by corporate safety manual,
WSIB, or any other authority.
Conducts various soil & concrete testing required to
ensure the integrity of the structure.
Reviews, maintains, and updates the construction schedule.
Reviews subtrade / suppliers invoices.
Hires & manages hourly employees as required.
Prepares field change orders.
Maintains daily log.
May perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
5 to 8 years construction experience.
Previous experience as Superintentant,
Project Manager, or similar.
Famililiar with commercial construction
methodology & practices.
Ability to plan and manage to a project schedule.
Understanding of construction documents and
the ability to ensure they are complete.
Contract negotiations / management skills.
A strong safety record and the ability to work
with a variety of individuals.
