Regional Proposal Coordinator
Golder Associates’ is implementing a systematic proposal process nationally to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its proposal efforts. Reporting to the Regional Leader of Marketing and Business Development, the Regional Proposal Coordinator(s) will be responsible for coordinating, implementing and maintaining the proposal process for offices within the Prairies and North Region. The Regional Proposal Coordinator will represent the offices on the regional Proposal Support Team as the team implements common systems, tools and training across the offices. In liaison with the senior Proposal Champion(s), the Coordinator will report back to the offices on proposal status, process developments, and generally promote good proposal practices.
Position Responsibilities:
• For major or strategic proposals, and working with the Project Manager, plan, schedule and coordinate all activities from kick-off to document delivery and client feedback.
• For major proposals, outline document, ensure RFP compliance, draft standard proposal sections, facilitate reviews and perform quality control on final document.
• Assist with training on proposal process, systems and templates.
• Ensure input to the Proposal Tracking System and generate status reports for Groups and Divisions.
• Ensure the generation, collection, dissemination and storage of standard proposal information in the Marketing and Proposal Centre site.
• “Go-to” point person on anything to do with proposals.
Position Requirements:
• The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Enthusiasm and passion for improving proposal process, systems and success rate is essential.
• 2-6 years experience in the professional services consulting industry, with some knowledge of proposal preparation.
• Completion of Post-secondary education.
• Superior internal and external client focus.
• Strong communications skills - written, verbal and presentation.
• Positive, can-do attitude ~ likes to have fun at work.
• Proactive with ability to think the ‘big picture’.
• Comfortable and effective interacting at all levels of the organization.
