Intermediate AutoCAD Technician
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work closely with our business units to fit the needs of our internal and external clients in providing various CAD and graphics support. Our Edmonton clients are generally in the hydrology, hydrogeology, health & safety and environmental areas. The position will include work on a variety of designing and drafting tasks, including development of earthwork and civil design drawings, construction plans and details, preparation of site plans, habitat maps, and creation of cross sections.
Golder Associates Ltd. is a strong advocate of the team approach to undertaking projects and problem solving. Accordingly, the candidate will be expected to interface with and work in multi-disciplinary teams in which the contribution of each member is equally valued.
Skills and Requirements
• Over 4 years experience with AutoCAD
• Direct hands-on experience with AutoCAD 2000, 2002 or 2004
• AutoCAD Land Development Desktop (LDD) experience an asset
• Experience with MS Office and Corel an asset
• A team-oriented and self-motivated individual who has good organisational skills
