Human Development Coordinator

The Position
The Calgary Human Development team is highly committed to providing excellent quality service. Our mission is to provide efficient and innovative business solutions to the Golder community. We are currently seeking a team oriented; quality focused Human Development Coordinator with a high level of integrity. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Coordinating Worker’s Compensation Board, long-term disability and short-term disability claims management processes;
• Responding to employee queries regarding compensation, including traditional benefits, pension plan and over time policies, etc.;
• Coordinating performance review, profit-sharing, employee exchange and/or other human development programs and projects;
• Coaching Leaders to manage performance, and if necessary, disciplinary actions; and
• Supporting the Human Development team by assisting with employee status changes, payroll and other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
• Degree/Certificate/Diploma/Certification in Human Resources;
• 5 or more years related experience;
• Strong commitment to team success;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent organization and prioritisation abilities;
• Proven ability to work professionally with confidential information;
• Proven ability to work precisely with detailed information; and
• Strong computer skills (MSWord, Excel, Outlook).
